Job Title: Sales Consultant – Medical Sales – Spinal Implants – OTE 60K

Salary + Bonus: Up to £66,000 + £20,000

Territory: South West, Taunton and Plymouth

The Role:

This opportunity is with a global market leading healthcare organisation within their Spinal Implants division. The organisation is looking for a Sales Consultant for the South West to provide development of the sales in the Hospitals in that region. This is a key territory for the company with some of the largest orthopaedic hospitals on territory.

A lot of time will be spent in the surgical environment consulting directly consulting with spinal surgeons, operating department practitioners (ODP) and ward managers.

You will be responsible for the development of the sales territory in line with agreed business development plan to ensure the annual sales target is achieved

To assist in the development of a regional sales plan in line with Regional Manager

To assist in the promotion of the company’s products through organised exhibitions and meetings to demonstrate they have the right products to meet customer needs, providing demonstrations where necessary to ensure correct use of products

Manage contracts by shaping and influencing tenders and negotiating as required

Communicate any potential business opportunities to Manager

6 MONTH INTERIM POSITION

The Person:

2-3 years proven medical sales experience
Orthopaedic based experience preferred, ideally spine sales
Understanding of how to sell technical products to Surgeons
Knowledge of how the NHS purchases
Highly driven and ambitious
