Project Engineer – Pharmaceutical GMP Manufacturing – Based in East Sussex and commutable from Eastbourne, Brighton, Crawley, Horsham, East Sussex and West Sussex – £40k

The pharmaceutical manufacturing which is carried out on site to GMP / GxP standards is highly regulated and they will consider experienced Project Engineers from other demanding manufacturing / production / factory environments such as food or FMCG.

The Role

1. Project Engineering role within a factory / production / manufacturing environment
2. Managing individual projects and schemes of projects of varying sizes
3. Working in a small team and reporting to the Director
4. Making decisions on the projects and taking leadership of contractors as required
5. Managing projects in a systematic way using methodology such as Prince2

The Person
1. Motivated and driven individual with strong motivations to solve technical projects and deliver projects of all sizes
2. Qualified engineer with HND or above (mechanical / electrical)
3. Experienced in managing projects in pharmaceutical, food, dairy, FMCG, aerospace or other regulated factory environment
4. Able to make decisions
5. Trained in formal project management disciplines such as Prince2
6. Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement methodologies
