Bids & Funding Officer

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

An exciting opportunity to join the Higher Education (HE) sector as a Bids & Funding Officer. Working closely with multiple departments including finance and procurement, the successful applicant will be responsible for researching and collating info for and managing the process for writing bids.

Description

To act as first contact point for funding related queries;
To proactively look for bid opportunities;
Ownership of tendering process’ from start to finish;
Develop an understanding of different funding streams;
Manage inputs from and liaise with a variety of stakeholders;
Conduct research needed to write bids effectively;
Keep an accurate bid tracker;
Follow up on all bids for feedback;
To assist in the production of reports;
To work closely with the Finance team to cost and recommend the best possible bid responses are submitted;
Basic project management tasks for successful bids and internal projects;
Undertake cross departmental tasks in Procurement and Contracts when require.Profile
