Senior Operations Manager

My client is an international store fit business. The UK is a key part of their growth strategy and with significant investment, their objective is to grow threefold over the next five years.

Role:
Senior Operations Manager reporting to the Operations Director and working very closely with the Sales and Marketing Director.
Responsibilities will include the management of the project management team.

There are four facets to the business: Procurement, Production / Manufacturing, Warehouse and Field (sub-contracted installation)

This role plays a key part in their growth plans, they are looking for somebody that can reduce the pressures currently being placed on the Operations Director. This is not just a project manager role, it is a role that will create and implement methods and processes which will improve the services of the store fit business.

Ultimately they are looking for somebody who will improve business service quality while reducing service delivery costs, consequently many experience factors have to be considered such as planning, implementing and continually developing operational processes; including sizes of and location of storage area, factories, offices and the logistics involved in getting the service to the client.

The role require a strong character with great communication and coordination skills with the ambition to play a key role in the growth of a significant part of the organisation.
