Regional Manager / Contracts Manager
We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager / Contracts Manager in Bristol, Bath, Taunton or Gloucester to manage Contractors and direct labour that are carrying out works on insurance damaged domestic and commercial properties in a patch across South Wales and South West England. The successful Regional Manager / Contracts Manager will be working from home traveling across their region to ensure quality of works and deal with any issues that arise.

Job role and responsibilities
Reporting into a National Manager the Regional Manager / Contracts Manager will have direct responsibility for the following;
• Actively managing selection and coverage in respect of sub-contractors (supplier management) and direct labour
• Managing performance of the contractors and ensuring consistency and quality of works
• Surveying and scoping works on more complex projects
• Ensuring quality of surveys/scopes submitted and works being carried out
• Carrying out targeted site audits
• Ensuring SLA’s are within target
• Dealing with variations
• Dealing with any complaints and ensuring these are kept to a minimum
What skills/experience will you need?
For this role the successful Regional Manager / Contracts Manager will need to have the following skills/experience:
• Ideally experience within the insurance claims market or social housing/private domestic property repairs
• Extensive surveying/scoping experience within the domestic property repairs industry
• Experience in overseeing contractors/sub-contractors or direct labour in the field
• Ideally knowledge of the claims validation process
• Solid maintenance/construction industry experience
• Ideally a relevant professional qualification
• Good understanding of H&S, CDM and the Party Wall Act etc.
