Overview:

My well-established business solutions client who specialise their services within the automotive industry are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis at their head-quarters based in Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful organisation. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience within a B2B environment, ideally with experience in the automotive sector.

Role Duties:

Building a pipeline of sales targets – achieving set objectives to bring on new business
Identify new business opportunities and manage a solid pipeline of leads to secure future sales
Supporting the sales team with tenders, contract negotiations and continious improvement of the sales strategy
Conduct regular client service reviews – meeting with both new and exsisting customers on a regular basis
Provide consultancy and sales advice to customers on the clients products, services and solutions
Assist in the accurate forecasting and reporting of sales targets on a regular basis
Having a creative influence to the sales strategy

Candidate Requirements:

Strong experience in business development and account management within a B2B envrionment
Capable of working to set targets and KPI’s within a fast-paced sales envrionment
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
Able to build strong rapports and relationships with high-profile clients and customers
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – outstanding customer service skills is essential with this role
Good presentation skills
Exposure to the automotive industry would be highly beneficial but not essential
Own transport and full UK driving licence is essential
Good IT skills – including MS Packages
