Property Operations Manager

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

MTC Recruitment are working with a leader in the Property Management sector. Due to their portfolio growing to excess of 250 million they are seeking an experience operations manager with a proven track record in Property Management. 

As a Operations Manager your job will include:

People management and team leadership within the department across Lettings and Maintenance, coupled with onward reporting.

You will need to have a real sound understanding of Residential and commercial property management.

• of all risk aspects along with health and safety compliance and environmental culture.
• Reviewing and understanding Surveyor and Contractor reports to ensure works are instructed and carried out to a satisfactory level
• Lead on tenders across contracted services, finding innovative opportunities to ensure reduction of costs
• Oversee the instruction and management of third-party contractors first-hand
• Hold responsibility for property compliance and any legal issues
• Review incoming and outgoing Service Charge Budgets and apportionment analysis along with reviewing and managing active budgets
• Providing senior support on Commercial renewals
• Provide strategic advice on Portfolio and Asset Management
• Liaising with external consultants and contractors on Property Management issues, this can range form small insurance matters to large Block management issues.
• To undertake an operational management review of the maintenance department
• Regular site visits to Large assets
