Press Brake Operator / Setter / Programmer

Our manufacturing client are looking for a Press Brake Operator / Setter / programmer to add to their team on days. This is a great opportunity to join a growing family run business and learn new skills at the same time. This role will involve training to Programme set and operate Press Brakes.

The Job:
Operation of machinery to achieve production targets
Adhere to quality procedures such as first off, last off and quality critical checks
Understand and adhere to standard operating procedures
Care and maintenance of machinery and associated tooling
Take an active part within the manufacturing team and contribute to improvements and objectives,

Skills and Experience (Essential):
Experience in Programming, Setting and operating manual or CNC Press Brakes (sheet metal work)
Ability to learn setting tasks and tool changes
Other relevant skills
Understanding or various measuring equipment.
Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards duties, shift work and overtime when required.

Skills and Experience ( desirable):
Ability to read engineering drawings
ISO9001-2008 Quality standard knowledge
