Estimator (Construction)

Our client is seeking an Estimator to work alongside the Managing Director and other Senior Management to deal with potential tenders/bids and develop/implement strategies to ensure operations run in the best possible way.

The Estimator will be expected to review tender websites on a daily/weekly basis and look for suitable opportunities that may be pertinent to the business and with the assistance of Directors manage the tendering process to secure work in line with budgetary and business strategies to secure new business opportunities taking into consideration the companies capabilities, capacity, financial, technical and contractual risk.

Skills/Experience

Previous experience of Estimating within a Construction type background
Attention to detail
Systems proficient – Excel
Professional approach
Commercially smart
Able to deal with sensitive information
Good numerical and verbal understanding
