Night (Pm) 3.5t Delivery Drivers – Temporary 4 Week Contract

Night (PM) 3.5T Delivery Drivers Required – (Loading Depot in Barnsley)

Due to continued growth and profitability of the Venian distribution business we are proud to announce the award of further Night Contracts which we are requiring experienced Fleet drivers for. All applicants must be experienced LWB van drivers to be considered to become part of our exclusive night delivery team.

As part of this specialist team your role will start at midnight Monday to Friday (5 nights) and you will be responsible for delivering a single drop to various strategic locations throughout the UK. All routes will commence in Barnsley, your run could be to Dartford, Gatwick, Newbury or Gloucester so excellent knowledge of the motorway network will be required and the ability to communicate with an operations supervisor essential. The fact this is a night shift, and the high profile nature of the contract, the successful applicants will have the ability to work on his/her own initiative and be of smart appearance. This is a temporary role for 4 weeks, in which the normal working week would be approximately 40 hours.

To be considered for this position you will be experienced as a delivery driver (minimum 2 years experience), have an up-to-date driving licence with maximum of 6 points. No drink driving convictions can be accepted for insurance purposes. The applicant will agree to be CRB cleared prior to acceptance.
