Salary: £270 – £330 per day

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a very successful technology service business in Salford Quays. This role will report directly into the senior management team and will offer a clear progression path as well as enviable benefits.

This role will offer the right person the opportunity to contribute to the exciting changes that are underway. The ideal candidate will be creative, driven, ready to take ownership of the accounts process whist making a really big impact on this part of the business.

Duties:

Provide a thorough analysis of the financial results and accurately interpret the company’s financial information to support formulation of strategic and long-term business plans

Liaising with the company’s financial accounting provider for those aspects which are outsourced

Monitoring reporting systems and ensuring the accuracy of the management accounts

Develop financial management mechanisms to minimise risk

Support the development of more junior staff

Work in partnership with technology specialists to deliver a professional service to a combination of FTSE100 and Public sector clients

The person:

ACCA/CIMA qualified or studying towards this
Sound experience of demonstrating best practise within the accounts function of a busy, professional services company
Ambitious and looking to be challenged to make an impact
Innovative in your approach, bringing a continuous improvement mentality
