Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
As Test System Designer you will be responsible for the development, on-going support, investigating and resolving issues. You will be capable of diagnosing tests system issues (electrical and electronic) as well as driving design change.
Responsibilities:
* Responding to production test equipment failures
* Technical investigation of test equipment issues
* Scoping work for outsource suppliers
* Driving down cost of production / generating and executing process improvement
Essential Requirements
* Technical knowledge of Test System hardware and software
* Knowledge of National Instruments and Pickering Instruments Products
* Experience of electrical and electronics hardware
* Qualified to HNC, HND or Degree level in a relevant engineering subject
* knowledge and ability to select appropriate design techniques and solutions
*Ideally you will have Raychem Harnware Cable Design and Altium PCB Design experience but training will be provided.
