Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
Account Manager and Tax Senior required to manage a portfolio of clients for the Surrey based branch of a multiply award-winning accountancy practice.
Account Manager and Tax Senior – About the Role
• Client setup and on-boarding
• Accounting software online portal training and support for clients
• Client meetings and dealing with queries of clients
• Develop relationship with client
• Accounts preparation & finalisation and CT returns
• VAT, Payroll & CIS Reviews & liaison with client and teams
• Preparation & review of Self-Assessment tax returns
• Liaise with HMRC on client issues
• Tax planning technical work and research when required
• Tax advisory support
• Supporting Tax Manager with adhoc work and projects
• HMRC Tax investigations
The successful Account Manager and Tax Senior will have
• Extensive Public Practice or Outsourcing experience
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAEW / ACCA / CIMA) ideal or MAAT
• Qualified ATT or CTA or Studying towards CTA (advantage)
• Excellent knowledge of Taxation both Individual and company plus Tax
• Excellent written and spoken English
• An eye for detail to ensure accuracy of work
• Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task
