£36,000-38,000K – including Holidays & Pension Plan
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Maintenance Engineering team in a well established and expanding FMCG company in Luton, a strong Electrical and Mechanical Engineering background is a necessity to succeed within this hi-speed rewarding manufacturing environment.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for responding to all Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns, reactive and scheduled maintenance to deliver an effective PPM maintenance system. Using excellent fault finding and problem solving skills you will work with the engineering department and production teams to identify and assess potential opportunities to reduce production downtime and carryout improvement activities and projects. Equipment on site will include hi-speed Production and Packaging machinery. You will have previous experience working within a hi-speed manufacturing environment, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will possess recognised qualifications and strong abilities in Mechanical Engineering. With a times served Engineering apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC or HND in Engineering or equivalent/or proven track record.
