£26,000 – £27,000 + OT + Pension + Life cover + Health checks.

Monday to Friday day shift. 08:30 – 17:00.

Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias required within high volume manufacturer offering training and exposure to bespoke manufacturing technology.

The role will be suited to electrically qualified and electrically biased engineers from high volume manufacturing backgrounds. Other backgrounds can be considered, essential skills are rapid electrical fault find and repair on complex machinery, full mechanical skill set and knowledge of hydraulic systems. You must be willing to work overtime and take part in a call-out rota as part of a team of 5 engineers.

The role will be permanently based at the Stroud production facility and will primarily be focused on executing a PPM schedule and responding to breakdowns across all machinery onsite.
The company are part of an international manufacturing brand with strong presence in Britain, Ireland, Europe and North America. This role is available due to a recent promotion within the business and offers long terms security and specific machinery training on-site.

The Role:

* Work to a PPM schedule and respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently on a range of electrical and mechanical engineering issues.
* Take part in a please apply a 1 in 5 basis for weekends and a one weekday per week basis.
* Work permanently at the main premises in Stroud

The Person:

* Multi-Skilled Electrically qualified and electrically biased maintenance engineer, manufacturing background ideal.
* Willing to work overtime and take part in call-out system.
* Live within very easy and quick commutable distance of Stroud. Ideally within 10 miles.
