Fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer from a specialist machinery maintenance background looking to join a 26 site UK Business in the Steel distribution industry and have an opportunity to be part of a team to develop PPM & TPM schedules.

This business have over 26 sites in the UK and are seeking driven individuals who want to work hard and progress quickly as there will be opportunities to move to other sites and even future management roles.

On offer is an opportunity to design, manage and implement PPM schedules, Operating procedures, Continuous Improvement methods, Asset Care and develop a lean culture with in the business. You will be tasked with developing operator’s procedures and training them to carry out basic maintenance on the machine in order to comply with the company’s aim to introduce TPM.

This company want to introduce a lean, preventative maintenance procedures and culture and need Engineers with this experience to aid in the development of this. This role will be varied, and you will have an opportunity to lead a small team with a view to looking after multiple sites.

This business supply steel into a number of companies and have extensive experience across a number of key sectors. They work in close partnership with prominent national and international companies in the oil, gas and engineering industries, as well as construction, manufacturing, road, rail and air.

This business are bringing in all maintenance and service in house and will be looking to recruit a number of Engineers over the next few months. This company will develop your skill base and invest in your career. This post requires a Maintenance Engineer from a specialist machinery maintenance background. The type of machinery you will be working on is, but not limited to, shot blasters, drill saws, presses, lasers and driveshafts, Section Saws, Ban Saws, Drill Line, CNC Machinery, Machine Tools etc.
