Workshop Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

*Working in conjunction with the Workshop Manager to carry out all work as identified during inspection of all incoming vehicles to the depots.
*Ensure all checks/inspections are completed & documented prior to releasing vehicles from the workshop
*Identify & record all vehicle damages.
*Inspect all vehicles returning from demonstrations reporting any faults, damages and deficiencies along with the estimated serviceable timeline.
*Target unserviceable time frames to a minimum by scheduling required servicing/maintenance.
*Demonstrate understanding of ISO9001:2000 & ISO14001

Skills & Experience:

*Qualified and experienced mechanic.
*Experience with diesel & electric forklift trucks
oOperating
oDiagnostics
oServicing
oRepair
*Demonstrate understanding of LOLER
*Ability to work unsupervised & under pressure while meeting deadlines
*Communicate with customers.
*Excellent attention to detail in all areas.

This role would suit ex-military vehicle mechanics and applications from ex-service candidates are actively encouraged.
