Fire Alarm Service Engineer

My Client is an establish fire company based in West Yorkshire who are currently recruiting for a fire alarm service engineer for maintenance and installation works to cover nationwide.

The successful candidate will need to have an existing understanding of specialised fire safety systems, city & guilds 1 & 2 electrical installation qualification as a minimum.17Th edition IEE regulations certificate and FIA completed training course an advantage.

Any relevant health and safety training including working at heights and asbestos awareness is preferred together with a clean driving licence.

Duties include planning actives, journeys, call outs etc to maximise service time and to ensure cost efficiency. you will be involved in attending call outs from time to time on a rota basis, fault finding, preventive maintenance, customer liaison, together with replacing and repairing equipment as well as quoting for new installations and remedial work.

You will be rewarded with a competitive Salary: £26,000 – £28,800+ commissions, friendly team environment in a growing and respected company. A company van, mobile phone and uniform will be provided.
