Class 2 Driver

Salary: £15.6 – £18 per hour

Bennet and Game are working with one of the UK’s leading global market leaders within critical and temporary power rental services and pride themselves in having over 30 years experience in the field providing a full turnkey service.

Our client is looking for a Class 2 driver to join their team providing services that include uninteruptable power supply systems, a generous load bank hire fleet, comprehensive fuel management services and generator hire fleets.

Class 2 Driver Position Overview

You will be required to drive 18 tonne vehicles, 4 wheeler curtain siders with a tail lift and transit vans delivering kits and equipment throughout the UK and possibly Europe. You must adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times while ensuring that equipment leaves the service centre at the highest standards along with making sure the company HQ is presented accordingly and when required the service centre and field service operations must be supported.

• Take ownership of delivery and collection of all Kits
• Experience with customer facing environments
• Engage with company customers with updates on timings for delivery’s/ collections and touch points
• Lease with transport coordinator and FST with timings of transport moves
• MUST be willing to travel across Europe and stay away from home when required
• Cleaning of the fleet items both internally and externally
• Taking deliveries and booking in POD and PO
• Drives a variety of vehicles up to 18T
• Assist with the installation and de-installation on site working alongside the field service team

Class 2 Driver Position Requirements

• MUST be willing to travel across Europe and to stay abroad when required
• MUST hold a Class 2 CPC
• Good written and verbal communication
• Computer literate with MS programmes
• Be able to work alone, flexible and have good management skills
• Full Clean UK Driver’s License
• Class 2 License holder
• Tachograph holder
• Ability to complete POWRA (Point of Work Risk Assessment)
• MUST be willing to drive when required, 18 tonne vehicles, 4 wheeler curtain siders with tail lifts and transit vans

• £15.6 – £18Per Hour
