Salary: £26,000per year
Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm, 30 minutes for lunch
Our client are a busy online retailer with over 3500 products in stock and growing at a fantastic pace, looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to help a within the team to help further grow their business
Candidate must be a reliable, honest and committed individual, who has the ability to work fast and accurately under pressure at busy times and work within the team and on their own
Must have good communication skills
The candidate must be computer literate as the role is computer based
Some knowledge of selling on eBay and Amazon would be of benefit however full training will be given
The role will mainly consist of creating listings on ebay and amazon and the website, dealing with customers and giving customers advice over the phone and taking payments over the phone using a virtual terminal
New stock arrives every week so the candidate needs to be able to list 10 or more products a day
The role will consist of
Attaching courier label to an invoice by checking name and label are correct
Creating listings on Ebay and Amazon of new stock
Create an advert for the website
Managing the day to day running of the website and dealing with all customers
Taking payments and giving advice to customers wishing to purchase over the phone (some knowledge of wallpaper/decorating is prefered but not essential)
Discussing ideas with the manager and marketing team
Some expericence in Website marketing desired but not essential
Some experience in social media is desired but not essential as facebook and twitter updates will be requred daily
The ideal Candidate will have some experience in a simlar environment especially with creating listings on ebay and amazon and the website
– Computer Literacy is essential for the role
– Excellent spoken and written English
– excellent knowledge of MS Office and internet
– some experience of a similar role is beneficial but not a necessity
Excellent customer service skills are essential
