Environmental Compliance Officer / Sheq Advisor

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

EXPERIENCED ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE OFFICER REQUIRED TO SUPPORT THE EHS MANAGER ON A 12 MOTNTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (SHEQ / QHSE / HSEQ BACKGROUNDS CONSIDERED)

TITLE: Environmental Compliance Officer / SHEQ Advisor

SALARY: £36,000 – £42,000DOE 

HOURS: 37 per week Mon to Fri (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

LOCATION: Warrington Area

PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Environmental Compliance Administrator, Environmental Coordinator, QHSE / HSEQ Advisor, Environmental officer

ROLE: Environmental Compliance Officer / SHEQ Advisor

You will provide support to the EHS Manager with a main focus on the Environmental and Energy Management elements of compliance but may also get involved in health and safety

You will monitor the 

EXPERIENCE: Environmental Compliance Officer / SHEQ Advisor

You will have had experience in Environmental Compliance and Energy Management in a previous role ideally in Waste Management, or a production / manufacturing environment

Beneficial qualifications (non of these are essential)

Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or Waste Management degree

IOSH or NEBOSH or Higher

Any affiliations that would be desirable include TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, IEMA

Ideally you may have a Transport CPC or have some understanding of Transport Compliance 

WAMITAB / COTC 

ISO Management systems experience ideal

You will have excellent IT skills
