Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year
Our client is a large Construction Company who are recruiting a Chartered Building Surveyor to monitor new build residential sites around the country. The role will be based in Beckenham, Kent and the successful candidate will be required to travel to various sites UK wide. Travel expenses will be paid on this basis.
You will be responsible for:
* Undertaking on-site design and build inspections
* Producing detailed reports and recommendations
* Identifying defects and advising on remedial works
* Offering advice on proposed alterations, improvements and extensions
* Prepare budgets and schedules
* Advise on environmental and safety issues
* Meet with clients and contractors to oversee progress
* Offering advice in relation to legal and planning issues
