Esg and Impact Investing Specialist (Private Equity) – Zurich

Salary: £78,000 – £84,000 per year

Our client, an International Private Bank, is looking to hire an ESG and Impact Investing Specialist (Private Equity) to join their team on permanent basis. The main focus area of the role is on impact analysis and impact measurement within private equity.

Please note the role is based in Zurich, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities:

– Undertake and perform impact analyses on private equity investment opportunities (co-investments and managers) for our impact investment programs
– Work closely with private equity investment teams on impact investments with a focus on the impact thesis, impact measurement and impact management.
– Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting on impact and ESG;
– Support client interactions with additional impact analyses and presentations;
– Advancing impact/ESG data collection, monitoring systems, and reporting frameworks;
– Interact with industry associations such as the PRI, GIIN, EMPEA, and IIGCC.

Skills and knowledge:
-Master’s Degree in sustainability, (environmental) finance, mathematics or comparable technical studies
– Proven experience in Impact, ESG and Sustainability with 2-3 years relevant work experience
– Proven experience in project management and data analysis
– Excellent computer skills (programming skills preferred)
– Fluency in English and German, both spoken and in writing (additional languages preferred)
– Strong communication and presentation skills (spoken and written)
– Naturally takes ownership and adheres to deadlines
– Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
