Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
Salary: up to £60,000p.a. DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Benefits: 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
Our client based in Saffron Walden, Essex is seeking an Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Mechanical & electromechanical design
- Managing R&D projects
- Using Solidworks to produce designs
- Testing products
- Producing reports
- Assisting other departments with related activities
An ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have:
- Mechanical engineering degree or similar
- Strong 3D CAD knowledge
- Experience working in an R&D environment
- Manufacturing process knowledge
- Full driving license.
