Mechanical / Electrical Assembly Technician

Mechanical and Electrical assembly technician required for a Nottingham based manufacturer of bespoke assembled communication systems. As the Mechanical and Electrical assembly technician you will be building up metal fabricated structures, working with wiring diagrams and assembling PCB boards and panels to the fabricated structure.

Environment:

The company have been operating for over 5 years and now require a driven Assembly Technician to be part of the business – NOT just a number, but a real part of the company driving forward.

You will be working in a clean, organised manufacturing environment as part of a team of assembly technicians

Role:

To assemble metal fabricated structures/boxes and insert electrical cabling, PCB boards and panel wiring.

Reading engineering drawings and wiring diagrams – following assembly instructions to completely build the companies bespoke equipment from start to finish

Essential skills:

* Confident working with hands tools
* Capable of reading and following instructions to build equipment
* Reading wiring and engineering drawings

Background required:

* Electrical or mechanical background – with proven hands on skills
* Some form or mechanical/electrical education would be highly beneficial

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

Overtime: Time and ½

In return for your experience as a Mechanical and Electrical assembly technician we can offer you:

£26,000 – £27,600 per year

33 days holiday plus Xmas Shutdown
