Data Architect / Cloud Data Architect required to work for a Global Professional Services business where you will be based remotely. There may be the odd trip to the London office, the States and Europe…but otherwise it is completely remote. 

This role will focus on architecture of data services developed. The Data Architect is responsible for designing new solutions, redesigning existing solutions and vetting solutions proposed by integration partners while adhering to the Global IT architecture standards defined. 

The Data Architect is also responsible for maintaining, creating and or updating the architecture artefacts like documentation in functional, non-functional and technical areas per solution as well as providing input into overarching architecture documentation.

Experience required: 

• Negotiation / communication skills on all levels of the organization. Well spoken and fluent in English. Architects in the team get exposed to a lot of different people from engineers to CIO’s
• TOGAF – at least foundational awareness.
• Solid documentation skills.
• AZURE knowledge is non negotiable. So good understanding of Azure Cloud and more specifically the modern data platform technologies in there.
