Technical Architect

Salary: £84,000 per year

Our client our a leading technology solutions provider. They are a Cloud first company and Microsoft Gold Partner. Due to their continued success they are looking to hire an experienced Technical Architect to join the organisation. The business has been delivering IT solutions for over 20 years and offers a wide range of professional Managed IT services from Cloud solutions, data centre migrations and security.
The successful candidate for the role will be able to combine a solid understanding of various cloud computing and technology systems, along with experience of managing a team of analysts.
Responsibilities:
• Line management of a team of Technical Analysts • Developing technical roadmaps for cloud implementations • Ensuring security is integrated into cloud solutions • Working closely with the Sales Team creating solution propositions, alongside presenting solutions to customers interpreting customer needs • Solution crafting and architecture for new cloud systems and migrations • Planning for service implementation/transition/introduction, inclusive of change management services Requirements: • Knowledge of cloud hosting services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services • Microsoft Windows-based networks and servers • Ability to construct a UAT testing programme and deliver and test a working solution • Ability to design robust and supportable solutions • Knowledge of Scripting and Programming • Cloud and Infrastructure design • Virtualised environments – Hyper-V and VMware migrations • Migrations to cloud and non-cloud-based products • Linux server experience (desirable) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-300/AZ-301 (highly desirable)
