They provide many services to many sectors including, government agencies, local authorities, government regulated industries and private sector clients.

This is a brilliant opportunity for individuals starting their career in Ecology. They provide great mentoring, learning curves and a great chance to work alongside experienced Ecologists.

Ideal candidates must have:

• Degree in ecology or related subject.
• Ideally experience in Phase 1 Habitat Surveys and Protected Species Surveys.
• Member or qualifying member of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
• A full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities as an Assistant Ecologist:

• Carry out habitat and protected species surveys including, bats, newts, and dormice.
• Advising clients of constraints and survey requirements.
• Assisting Ecologists with report writing and mitigate issue.
• Assisting in Liaise with, site managers, engineers, planners, and other associates with a survey.
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and protocols.
