The Company

A major operator within the rail and infrastructure sector who are developing a significant infrastructure programme. This programme at €2.2b is one the largest of its kind in Europe and is an innovative long term project designed to significantly improve the city transport links. This exciting venture will continue through construction until at least 2025.

The company are a government owned and funded enterprise split across three different parties of Scandinavian interests.

The Role

The successful Contract Manager / Contract Administrator would be responsible the following (not exclusively)

*Supporting the management teams responsible for Civil works & Transportation System contracts, dealing with claims, costing, extended agreements.
*Administration & ensuring compliance of contractual obligations
*Tender development and submission in securing future business for the company
*Conference and face to face meetings with clients in delivering progress reports and managing process.
*Extension of work includes Pricing, Estimation & Calculation of Quantities

The Person

The organisation would ideally look for a

*Relevant higher education in Civil (construction), Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Contracts Administration, Contract Law, etc.
*Minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, including at least 5 years on major infrastructure projects, such as tunnelling and/or railway projects.
*Experience with detailed architectural and finishing works for large projects is also an advantage.
*Solid knowledge of contract administration – including managing common conditions for contracts and the administration of claims & supplementary agreements
