The company
Our client, one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers based in Greater Manchester supplies premium quality products to United Kingdom retailers, food service and industrial markets.
Due to continued growth they now seek to recruit an upbeat Senior Shift Manager at their site based in Greater Manchester.
The role
Reporting to Production Manager you will be responsible for a team of Section Managers and Operatives.
You will be expected to develop, review and deliver departmental objectives through a process of leading, coaching, and challenging as well as actively support and deliver change-oriented activities and projects on your shift.
The person
Our Ideal candidate must hold or be working towards level 4 certificate in food safety. Have a proven track record in cost control, health & safety (IOSH), CI, management of quality systems, lean manufacturing principles and managing teams. You will be a strong team player who can demonstrate strong leadership and motivational qualities to create a high-performance culture, with the ability to interact with customers and problem solve in real time.
