General/Depot Manager
A well-respected processing company with a national network of specialists around the UK are looking for an outstanding General/Depot Manager to join their company in Suffolk.
The Job
* High profile, large site with a headcount up to 100
* You will lead and support your team by providing regular communications, encouraging feedback and contributing their ideas and initiatives.
* It is a hands-on role, and you will be responsible for ensuring the customer service levels are delivered.
* You will be responsible for complying with all company policies, including Health and Safety and legal and regulatory requirements.
* With commercial knowledge, you will recognise when investment needs to support business growth and ensure that the necessary resources are in place to deliver targets.
* You will enjoy working with all clients (B2B and B2C) to maintain and develop existing and new revenue streams.
Is this you?
* Ideal experience from a manufacturing & processing type business
* With previous experience running a large depot operation with full P & L responsibility, you will have proven success in achieving sales growth, revenue and profit targets.
* You will have a good level of numeracy, verbal and written skills, to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent standard.
* Confident and articulate, gaining respect as a role model through your knowledge and experience, you will have the passion for delivering strong customer focus and service.
* Thriving under pressure, you will manage multiple priorities and work to critical deadlines and objectives.
* We are also looking for someone who can stand back, evaluate when things need to change, and not be afraid of that journey to be the best.
* Your coaching and supportive leadership style balanced with an ability to drive performance to achieve objectives will demonstrate previous success in leading sales and operations teams.
Package
Basic salary and car/car allowance, the range is varied, we are looking for the right person, so let’s have a discussion. We are not trying to hide anything, but equally, we don’t want to pigeonhole.
