Salary: £30,000 – £48,000 per year
The Client:
A forward-thinking SME making waves in the property maintenance sector, this rapidly growing business is becoming rapidly recognised for delivering efficient, high-quality maintenance, refurbishment and finishing works for a vast portfolio of landlords, letting agents and commercial property owners across the City.
The Role:
Looking to strengthen their client relationships and expand their capacity to take on new business, they are looking to appoint an Account Manager to act as the first port of call for established clients, taking the reins of the client account and providing them with a one-stop shop for all of their maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities:
– Take in initial enquiries for established clients of the business, talking through project requirements and organising for quotes to be estimated and sent out
– Overseeing the allocation of maintenance trades to attend a range of planned and reactive maintenance works
– Procure the correct materials and sub-contractors, sourcing from a range of established relationships that the business has built over time, alongside identifying new suppliers
– Ensure the correct and accurate maintenance of project records, dealing with all ad-hoc administration that your projects generate
– Troubleshooting and problem-solving
– Hold and attend regular meetings, become a focal point for developing further business opportunities within your client portfolio
– Effective communication with clients, suppliers, external consultants and colleagues through to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Previous experience in the property maintenance industry is desirable, however, this position is open to applicants looking to step into the sector for the first time
– General construction/property maintenance know-how would be highly advantageous
– Ideally, you will be situated within a reasonable commute of Central London
