Based in Birmingham our client is a growing and successful family run company. The business was established over 60 years ago and they specialise in delivering low cost, environmentally friendly packaging solutions to their customers. The role will involve daily driving with a customer base coverage of a 120 mile radius and will consist of both deliveries & collections, handling of goods and loading / unloading when necessary.

Duties will include;

* You will be responsible for the delivery and collection of goods on behalf of the company on a daily basis.
* The completion of any relevant checks and related administration when delivering and collecting goods.
* You will be responsible for ensuring that all Company vehicles are driven safely, professionally and within the law at all times.
* As the public face of the company you will be well presented, able to communicate professionally with customers on site and promote the positive image of the business at all times.
* Regular material handling in a safe and conscientious manner.
* Loading and Unloading Lorries when required.
* You will comply with current H&S legislation and Company specific health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
* Maintaining good relations with customers, suppliers and all colleagues.

Essential Requirements;

* You will be a fully competent driver with a clean class 1 driving licence and holder of a full Driver CPC qualification.
* You will hold a minimum of 2 years relevant and regular driving experience.
* Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of driving a Class 1 vehicle.
* It is expected that candidates will be physically fit as the role involves lifting and manual handling.

Package;

40 Hours Monday – Friday (+ Daily overtime available) £14.4 – £19.2 per hour paid weekly
