Ict Senior Support Officer

Salary: £22.8 per hour

Our local authority client has a 3-month contract vacancy (with the possibility of extension) for the role of an ICT SENIOR SUPPORT OFFICER details as follows

Job Purpose

To assist with the build, provisioning and deployment of the machines across the council’s estate. This will require on-site visits travelling to from a base in Crewe and Chester to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning and deployment of desktops
• General service support daily, managed with HALO (ITSM)
• Service Requests managed with HALO (ITSM)

Essential Requirements

• Must have experience of Technical Desktop tools and management solutions, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Windows 10 / 11 operating system, Group Policy configuration and support, Surface / Lenovo devices (hardware) and Public Network (Libraries, Peoples Network).
• Degree level qualification in ICT, or a related field, or equivalent
• Practical experience of supporting the delivery of projects within a local authority setting
• Experience of working with public and private sector partners
• Business intelligence experience
• of delivering one or more of the following: ICT Infrastructure, Applications Development, Network/Technologies/ Data Centres
