Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical)

Salary: £15.84 per hour

Our client is an established and reputable business based in Burton. Offering a generous range of benefits, they are seeking to appoint a mechanically biased Fitter to complement their existing Maintenance team. Working a three-week rotational shift pattern of days, nights and weekends, you will carry out a variety of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair activities. Your key duties will include:

* Assisting in the continuous improvement of equipment, efficiency, etc

* Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair duties across the site

* Working on heavy plant

* Providing operator and maintenance training

* Continuous improvement activity

* Working towards productivity targets

In order to carry out this varied and interesting role, you should be apprentice trained or time served. You should also have experience of working on heavy plant such as agricultural machinery, power stations, waste management, etc. Additionally, you will need to pay attention to detail, as well as being driven and committed.
