Site Engineer – Civils & Infrastructure

Salary: £39,600 – £54,000 per year

PSR Solutions are working with a well-established infrastructure contractor to recruit for a full-time, permanent Site Engineer.

Working with a national, multi-disciplined powerhouse of infrastructure; you will initially be based on a brand new highways project in Yorkshire. You will also have the added benefit of a diverse business mix including environment agency schemes, highways, and private infrastructure.

The Successful Engineer will need to be confident in their own ability whilst accepting guidance and development from the project team. You will have a goal of development into a Management role if desired, eventually taking on responsibility for project documentation and staff supervision.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

• Take control of the technical aspect of the project works
• Setting out for all Construction activity on site
• Completing quality documentation
• Implementation of Quality planning and controls to ensure project compliance with the Specification and the Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability Company Policies
• Undertake setting out, QA, issuing permits.
• Checking and ensuring that the project works comply with the requirements of the contract specification and drawings etc.
• Maintain accurate and consistent records
• Maintain and develop client relationships

• Requirements & Qualifications:

  • CSCS Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (Desirable)
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience of setting for new road construction, public realm, utilities, services drainage and 278 works.
  • Experienced at undertaking quality checks
  • Competent user of basic Microsoft office packages
