Senior Software Developer (Scala / Java)

Salary: £480 – £534 per day

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Scala/Java engineer to join an established fintech organisation working on the build out of their bespoke trading platform. The technology encompasses the full asset management life-cycle including portfolio management, risk analysis, trade processing, fund accounting and treasury services.
Skills required:
* Scala and Java (5+ years’ experience)
* Libraries: Scalaz/Cats/Reactive streams/FS2/Slick/Guava/Mockito/JUnit/ScalaTest
* Frameworks: Spring/Spring Boot/Micro-services architecture
* Excellent understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) with knowledge of the trading infrastructure would be desirable
* Strong knowledge of order staging and execution management systems such as Bloomberg EMSX
