Our longstanding client has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Estimator to join their comany on a permanent basis with remote working from home available
The successful construction Estimator must have experience with new build housing.
The role involves:
Produce tenders for new projects
Production of accurate take offs for projects.
Production and update of procurement schedules for all projects.
Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages.
Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works.
Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities.
Works closely with architects and other professionals.
Navigates and understands building codes.
Processes paperwork and travels to building sites as required.
Monitors construction processes.
