A Process Engineer is required for a busy and expanding company based in the Southampton area. The company develop a range of optical devices which are sold into both R&D and OEM customers.
As a Process Engineer you will join the company’s delivery team producing their products. Working within a clean room production environment, processes include photo lithography, acid etch, metal spluttering, wafer dicing, polishing, poling and characterisation of wafers and chips. Each production process step will be delivered to tight timescales and you will ensure quality standards, yields and deadlines are achieved.
Candidates will have similar experience gained within a cleanroom and laboratory production environment. Ideally this will be experience of optical or semiconductor device fabrication processes. Candidates will be Degree qualified or hold equivalent knowledge gained through working in a similar environment.
