Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required to join a fast growing and innovative business that specialise in refurbishment and new builds.
This company would suit a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working with a constantly evolving business and enjoys working together with the team to find ways to improve.

The role is open due to expansion and the successful candidate will be offered several projects to work on.
This will be a fast paced and challenging role, which will offer the opportunity to progress with the company.

Daily duties will include:
Tracking projects in progress from the commercial angle including pricing variations, issuing notices to clients, submitting requests for information and following through to ensure we have the correct instruction before commencing work on site
Valuing works on site and submitting applications with vesting agreements.
Dealing with any under valuations Cost tracking against budgets, cost to complete, cash flow forecast, cost plans, reporting GP’s delay analysis
Keep abreast of changes in relevant legislation, and understanding of JCT/DOM/NEC subcontracts and provide a summary to directors.
Monthly review of email/progress to ensure we are legally covered for any changes in programme, specification.
Review terms offered by supply chain on purchase orders to ensure all risks are covered or mitigated
The package on offer is flexible and based on experience.

On offer for this Quantity Surveyor position is a basic salary in the region of £72,000circa p.a. depending on experience plus comprehensive benefits package including pension, bonus and car allowance.
