Land Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer – Liverpool

OVERVIEW: Land Surveyor / Setting Out / Site Engineer to provide setting out for roads, drainage AND earthworks on live remediation sites across North West UK. Office location Manchester. Salary £28,800 – £34,800 + fantastic benefits including training budget, PRP bonus, pension etc. You WILL also have the use of a company van for site visits.

THE ROLE & CANDIDATE PROFILE;
My client seeks both Junior and more experienced Land Surveyors / Setting Out Engineers / Civil Engineers to meet increased client demand. You MUST be a Graduate with at least some commercial experience. With a good eye for detail, the ideal candidate will be able to assist the Tender Team in the production of concise earthworks calculations and AutoCAD drawings to support tender submissions.

Candidate Qualities:

You MUST have experience of setting out for roads, drainage as well as earthworks.
Proficient in the use of total station and GPS setting out equipment
Proficient with three dimensional modelling packages such as LSS for earthworks calculations and measurements
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD for the producing drawings for sites and tenders
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Project
Ideally degree qualified with experience of setting out and earthworks measurement
High standard of written and spoken English
Full clean driving license essential
Graduate Civil engineering / Civil Engineer background is preferred.

LOCATION:- You will work out of most likely the Manchester office. This role WILL involve extensive on-site field work so you MUST have a full clean driving licence. You will have the use of a company vehicle for site visits.
