Supervisor – Waste Management Site – Team Leader – Midlands

Position: Site Supervisor – Waste Management – Assistant Site Manager – Central
Salary: £30,000 – £33,600+ benefits excellent staff training
Location: Home Counties

The Company
DMA are working on behalf of significant players within the recycling industry and due to continued growth they have an fantastic role of Site Supervisor.

The Role:

– We are looking for a strong people manager to effectively and safely assist in the operation of one of our Waste Recycling Sites based in the M40 corridor
– You will work alongside the Site Manager to support them in their role; you will assist them in ensuring the plant operates effectively and within budgetary constraints.
– To lead, manage and develop an operational team of staff, ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to by all site personnel and maintaining all operational records to assist in the production of KPIs.
– To ensure that the site is run within a zero tolerance health and safety environment

The Candidate:

– The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the waste management industry within a supervisory/managerial role.
– Experience of waste management operations advantageous, such as waste processing site, municipal waste or commercial waste operations would be desirable..
– Ideally you will hold a COTC qualification or be working towards it.
– This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate that wishes to develop themselves into a management role.
– It is essential that you have proven experience within a supervisory role.
– However, if you have previous supervisory experience within a production line facility in industry we would like to hear from you.
– You will have strong English and Maths qualifications as well as IT capabilities.
