Land and Engineering Surveyor

We are looking for experienced, practical and highly capable Land and Engineering Surveyors to work in our company on various Rail and Construction Contracts.

You will work as a member of an established highly skilled group of Land and Engineering Surveyors both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Applicants would preferably have a relevant degree in Land and / or Engineering Surveying or a related surveying discipline. Previous proven experience in the field is essential with a minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred. Experience of Rail Related Surveying Projects would be beneficial.

– You must be highly motivated and self-reliant.
– Good team player
– Have sound mathematical abilities
– You must have good communication skills. The ability to produce high quality, accurate written and CAD documentation, Excel Data Sets and Reports is essential.
– Computer literate with a strong knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and MicroStation processing and presentation software packages would be an advantage.
– Ability to undertake all aspects of RAW Survey Data processing, analysis and presentation.
– Comprehensive knowledge of Survey Field Procedures and the ability to collect measured survey data accurately in challenging environments.
– Hold a CSCS Card
– Hold a Clean Driving License.
– Be willing to be flexible with regards to working hours and undertaking night shifts
– Proven skills in the use of High Precision Leica Total Stations, Levels, Laser Scanners, GPS.

– Survey Planning and Implementation
– Monitoring Installation and Setup
– High Precision Deformation Monitoring of Structures and Tunnels
– Establishment and Maintenance of Primary Control Networks
– Setting Out and Validation Surveys
– Measured Building Surveys
– Laser Scanning and Processing
– Detailed Measured Surveys
– Data Processing and Presentation
