Cost / Financial Accountant

Salary: £26,400 – £28,800 per year

We are working with a leading waste management services company who has a new opportunity available for a CIMA qualified financial professional to join a rapidly expanding team based in the North West.

This role is a pivotal role supporting all divisions but specifically working with the commercial teams.

Some of the responsibilities will include but not limited too;
– Completion of monthly prepayments and accruals
– Managing relationships with the budget holders to provide financial insights
– Manage cost centre budgets, providing commentary on variances
– Review cost centre P&L’s
– Ad-hoc analysis
– Putting bids together
– Cost cards
– Managing PERN’s (Packaging Export Recovery Notes)
– Job profit control analysis
– Putting pricing together for new jobs
– Running through the sales figures at the end of the month providing financial insights
– Financial modelling
– Working closely with the sales teams across all divisions to obtain pricing, job values
– Financial Project Management
– Balance sheet and Bank reconciliation
– Financial due diligence
– Other ad hoc finance admin related tasks as required
