AAT Reveiwer / Assessor

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountancy and Tax Reviewer / Assessor or candidates who have their AAT level 4 who would like to train to become a Reviewer / Assessor working for a national training provider working across the Birmingham region.

You will be required to take full responsibility for a caseload of learners ensuring completions are made timely and hence minimal learners become ‘Out of Funding’

Main Duties:
To ensure learner files are fully compliant with SFA guidance at all times
To carry out face to face Progress Reviews at a minimum of 10 -12 weekly intervals, including the update of Individual Learning Plans, and engaging the employer in the process
To carry out assessments on learner’s evidence on a monthly basis, providing feedback
To provide guidance and support at one to one meetings or in groups for learners completing Functional and Key Skills units, ensuring timely completion of tests and portfolios
To grow the Apprenticeship provision by securing additional starts from employer contacts as prescribed by the AAT Performance Manager

Requirements:
Experienced Assessor – not essential
AAT Level 4 – essential
Full UK driving licence – essential
A1 Qualification – not essential
V1 qualification – not essential
Occupational background in Accounts – essential
Possesses confident, friendly, approachable manner
Listens carefully to all encounters
Adopts a flexible communication style – meeting the different needs of individuals/situations
Excellent oral and written skills
Able to persuade/influence others
