Transport and Logistics Coordinators

Our client is looking to recruit Transport and Logistics Coordinators to work within the Logistics Team, you will be based at our clients office in Swindon working on Network Rail’s Electrification Project.

This will be a long term contract, paying between, £240 – £300 per day

Duties will include but not limited to:

Co-ordinating vehicles and materials to the track side
Identifying drop off points for vehicle’s and materials
Coordinating labour resource
Arranging transportation
Ensuring timely delivery of goods for a range of possessions
Working in conjunction with logistics manager, stores team and possessions team to ensure time critical delivery of all items and resourceOur client has 30 sites which require vehicles delivering the materials to specific access points at the track side. This has to be co-ordinated with the track teams so that materials aren’t left unattended and arrive at the right place at the right time.

Ideally you will have a background in Rail project coordination and or Transportation coordination and had experience of dealing with a wide level of project staff, including Rail Directors.

You will have an understanding of Rail possessions and access points

You must have a full UK driving licence as travel between offices is required
