Production Planner

Our client is currently going through a period of change and they are looking for highly motivated individuals to join their expanding production team as a Production Planner.

Responsibilities:
· Plan and schedule workflow according to manufacturing sequences and lead times.
· Plan sequence of manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
· Manage Production and Warehouse Teams to support OTIF and Plan Compliance.
· Manage manufacturing schedules taking into account unforeseen conditions.
· Analyse production specifications and capacity data to determine manufacturing and man-power requirements.
· Forecasting levels of demand for products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels (raw materials through to finished goods).
· Manage Stock Levels (raw materials through to finished goods) within the Cash Flow requirements of the Business.
· Prepare production reports.
· Managing stock data on the Company systems
· Warehouse utilisation;
· Generation of Pick Sheets that identify stock by Lot Code, Pallet Number and Location
· Managing the HMRC EMCS system.
· Liaison with hauliers and third party warehouses to ensure Customer Service levels and OTIF are maintained at all times.
· Maintaining an effective working relationship with all departments to support the Business strategy and KPIs.
· Manage and ensure compliance with all Production & Warehouse record keeping requirements

Successful candidate would be an experience planner from a food manufacturing background; Demonstrable ability to plan materials and production effectively is essential.
