BS Social Care

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Do you sit at home or at work and really wish you had more time to yourself? Perhaps you thought there weren`t any good part time management jobs out there… Well, there are and if you are an experienced homecare manager, then this is yours!

Based in Turnpike Lane, North London, we are recruiting for a registered care manager to take over a charity homecare agency managing roughly 1000 hours per week which are comprised of a mixture of private clients and local authority. You will be working in a quiet road just off the main road and a 5 minute walk from both Turnpike Lane Station on the Piccadilly Line and the Wood Green High Road with it`s wide array of shops and restaurants.

Working 3 days per week, your day to day duties will be to support your team in their daily efforts, conduct reviews and trainings as required, conflict manage when required, and generally handle all of the day to day happenings of the service. As a manager, you are the person everyone will turn to when they need guidance and advice as well as to celebrate when things are going well.

Your team will be made up of a small office based team and a large number of carers who will look up to you.

Your hard work and dedication will not go unnoticed by the charity board who meet one evening per month to discuss the service and it`s requirements, challenges, and successes. You will be expected to attend these meetings and represent your team.

The ideal candidate for this role (i.e. you) is someone who is hardworking, treats their work as if it is their own business, treats their staff with respect and knows when it is time to laugh with their team. Basically, this is you!

In addition to these qualities, you will be someone who has an NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or similar management qualification, knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards, have experience of managing a homecare/domiciliary care service, and live fairly local to North London as emergency cover may be required at times.

In return for your hard work, skills and experience, you will be offered a salary of £36,000 – £42,000(pro rata), 20 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday (pro rata), a free parking space if you drive, and pay reviews based on performance.
