Deputy Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: Tavistock, Devon
Salary: £26,000 – £26,400per year

The Role:
Due to expansion, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager in a busy domiciliary care agency in Tavistock. As the Deputy Manager you will play a key role in the day to day management of the agency. You will spend most of your time in the office but there will be requirements out in the community as well. You will be required to be an active and inspiring role model for our team of carers.

Your main responsibilities will be; client assessments, devising and monitoring the delivery of excellent care standards, staff training, motivation and development, maintaining a staff plan management system and basic administration duties. You will be required to promote our key principles, values, policies and procedures throughout the group at all times.

Normal working hours are based on a 40 hour week with office hours being 9am – 5.30pm. The position requires flexibility and cover of the on-call rota.

The Candidate;
The Deputy Manager must be caring, organised and forward thinking. This is an exceptionally exciting position for an inspired and energetic individual who wants to share a vision within a team to make a real difference to people’s lives. As the Deputy Manager you must have a proven track record within domiciliary care and have an understanding of the fast-paced and busy nature of the business – you must be commercially aware and have excellent business acumen skills.

Other key skills are:
– NVQ 3 Care or equivalent
– Excellent IT Skills
– Excellent written and oral communications skills
– Full UK Driving license
