Saw Operative / Forklift Driver

Salary: £27,000 – £28,680 per year

We are hiring Saw Operative/Forklift Driver for our client in Hayes, Middlesex.
They are a manufacturing company for bus shelters, digital signange, way finders,etc.
This is a permanent, full time position.

The post holder is responsible for:

• The sets up and operates power saws to cut, slot, mitre and trim non-metallic and metallic work pieces according to specifications.
• Selects and installs blade on the machine, using hand tools.
• Sets controls to adjust speed, feed rate.
• Positions guides, stops or other fixings to secure and direct workpiece.
• Cuts material to drawing, specifications.
• Mounts work piece in holding device, to cut work piece to length.

Candidate must have:

• Previous experience within a similar role -Carpentry/Joinery qualifications
• Can read engineering drawings
• Counterbalance License
• Experience of operating Saws

Package for the Saw Operative / Forklift Driver role:

Salary range from £27,000 – £28,680/yr depending on experience
Working hours:Monday to Thursday at 8 am to 4:30 pm and until 12:30 on Fridays
