CNC Machinist / CNC Setter / Operator / CNC Miller

Salary: £15.6 – £18.6 per hour

CNC Setter/Operator (double days), Stroud

£15.6 – £18.6 p/h + shift allowance
(£15.6 – £18.6 – £18.60 per hour including shift allowance)

This privately owned SME, operating predominantly within the Aerospace industry, has an impressive client portfolio and has steadily grown over the last 5 years.

Moving forwards, the company has ambitious expansion plans and as such, they are looking for a new CNC Miller to join their team.

Due to continued growth and having recently purchased new machinery, a CNC Setter/Operator is sought.

Working with mainly steels and aluminiums, you will be responsible for producing components for the aerospace industry. The work can be challenging at times and certainly won’t be routine or monotonous, which makes this an interesting position.

Programming is done both offline and online and though programming skills would be useful for this position, they are not essential.

Previous CNC milling experience is essential. Experience with Mazak Integrex / Mazatrol would also be advantageous.

The double day shift pattern is as follows.

Week 1: Monday – Thursday 6am – 2pm / Friday 6am – 1pm
Week 2: Monday – Thursday 2pm – 10:30pm / Friday 1pm – 6pm.

Overtime is available at x 1 1/2 on Saturdays and Sundays and x 1 1/3 during the week.
